Community Outreach
Home performance work and all sustainable solutions is of great importance to our community not only to help protect our environment, but to help us create more resilient homes that could withstand better the extreme weather we have been experiencing lately. We believe that great energy savings can come from just by adjusting the way we do things we currently do in our homes. So our mission is to try to reach out to our communities in the way of lectures, workshops, or simple talks, to help empower families and communities with resources and information needed to promote high home quality air, and energy savings through information and to help them find those incentives currently available to our community.
In search for more information we became members of NESEA, Northeastern Sustainable Energy Association, and help create a local chapter: NESEA Hudson Valley. If you are interested in the green field of work, or you already are and would like to have the support of our group, just send us a message and we will provide you with information of the next’s chapter meeting.
We hope that with our continuing action we work to build and strengthen our local community. We try to do this by getting an involving a growing number of individual volunteers in NESEA Hudson Valley, by partnering with other groups to provide assistance and learning, and by supporting sustainable environmental initiatives in our environment.
Whoever we are, we share the belief that every single act of help can make a difference, and that there is personal joy in giving back of whatever time and talents we have to those who need them.
